2012 - the year when Dreams come True
Unlike many others during the first days of the new year, I had not decided a reasonable and realistic new years resolution. I absolutely didn’t want a make a promise like “I’m gonna go to the gym more often in 2012” because I knew I wouldn’t so I really wanted to come up with something that I really wanted to achieve.
And after a lot of personal monolouges I finally came up with a good resolution. Since I’m a great fan of music I promised myself to buy a vinyl player and get myself a decent collection of records before the end of the year.
Now, six months after my promise I’m sitting here with over 100 vinyl records and the only thing I need for my dad’s old player to work is a couple of speakers. I’m sitting here holding on to one of the greatest albums ever made by Sir Elton John and just days from now, I will be able to play it on MY own vinylplayer.
2012 have so far been the year where dreams come true.
